Nufarm and GWF

Major Australian companies select Incom Risk Manager

For immediate release: Sydney, Australia – July, 2014

Incom®, supplier of the world’s leading fully translatable risk management software system, has announced the addition of new Australian clients to their valued client list.

Nufarm Limited

In early-2014, Nufarm Limited purchased an Incom Risk Manager system.

Nufarm is one of the world's leading crop protection and specialist seeds companies. They produce products to help farmers protect their crops against damage caused by weeds, pests and disease.

With manufacturing and marketing operations based in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and the Americas, Nufarm employs more than 3,400 people, all of whom make a vital contribution to the company's reputation for quality products, innovation and first class marketing and technical support.

Nufarm is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (symbol NUF) and its head office is located at Laverton in Melbourne.

Although the Incom system is being used mainly for any type of risk, Nufarm is also using the system to manage action items resulting from Internal Audit findings.  The intention is to also use the system for Quality Management CAPA (Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions).

George Weston Foods

In mid-2014, George Weston Foods (GWF) purchased an Incom Risk Manager system.

GWF is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest food manufacturers employing over 6,500 people across 58 sites.

GWF is a wholly owned subsidiary of Associated British Foods plc (ABF), a diversified international food, ingredients and retail group with operations across sugar, agriculture, retail, grocery and ingredients, employing over 100,000 people in 46 countries.

GWF is Incom’s first client in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry and initially there were some questions as to whether the Incom system would be suitable for FMCG risks.  But risks are risks whatever they are and it soon proved that there is no risk that cannot be managed using the Incom system.
