1. What is the Reseller Program?
It is a marketing program, where you may participate as a reseller or as an independent consultant. Resellers add Incom software to their portfolio of products and services and actively market the software.  Consultants take a less active role and receive commission for their involvement in sales. We provide our logo for placement on your web site.

Your choice of two systems.  Resellers manage the customer account completely, while consultants refer the customer to Incom.  Resellers get a discount on software and consultants earn a commission based upon the degree of involvement of Incom in the sale.
 
2. How do I sign up to be an Incom Reseller?
It’s easy! Contact us and let's start talking.  Resellers are expected to purchase a small system so they can set up a demonstration with their industry risk information. Consultants do not have any obligation to purchase a demonstration system. 
 
3. How long will it take to become an Incom Reseller?
Complete the sign-up form we send you, then we will sign and send you a reciprocal Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for you to countersign.  This protects all interests.  If a reseller is seeking an exclusive market (we call a Principal Reseller), we will also prepare a simple (one page) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).  No complex legal documents. There are no long waits or approvals!  Everything is quick and hassle free!

4. How much can I earn?
There is no limit to your earnings potential.  Simply sign up customers through our program and receive discounts or commissions for each sale.  There is no limit to how many you can sign up and no limit to how much you can make! 
 
5. When and how often will I be paid?
We pay consultants their commission on a 30 day account basis.
Resellers pay us our proportion of the sale on a 30 day account basis.  
 
6. What technical skills do resellers need to have?
Consultants will only need to understand the overall functionality of the software, and maybe demonstrate it if need be. 

Resellers will need to (a) put our logo at an appropriate place on their web site, (b) setup a demonstration with sample risks encountered in the industries they service, and demonstrate the software, and (c) provide first line support to their customers.

Resellers pass any program error to us, and seek our help if customers or prospects have questions that cannot be answered in our marketing material or user guides.  We provide proposal templates to our resellers.

7. How do you know which consultant to pay for a sale?
One way is for the consultant to notify us who they have recommended the software to, so if those customers buy direct from us we know who was responsible for the sales lead.

Another way is for the consultant to offer a discount off the price of the software if the customer nominates the consultant at time of purchase.  The customer will need to nominate you as the consultant to get their 5% discount.  We then subtract the same amount from your commission.

If the customer does not nominate you as their consultant and we know you were responsible for sending the customer to us, we will still credit you your commission.

8. How are my commissions recorded for tax purposes?
It is recorded as services rendered and will be filed with tax returns as required by law. Resellers and consultants are required to maintain and abide by any governing laws applicable to income earned through this program.  
 
9. Why does Incom do this?
We do not have the capability to provide a national or global direct sales team.  We do not have your industry expertise and direct contact with potential customers.  We are not risk consultants - we are software suppliers.  We focus 100% on risk and incident management software.
 
10. As a Consultant, do I need to be an Incom customer myself?
No.  You do not have to be an Incom customer to join our program.  However, you may purchase your own system using the credits you have earned referring other customers. 
 
11. Where do I get the required links and banners?
We provide a selection of links and banners in several designs and sizes as well as text and editorial for you to use on your site.

12. Can I participate if I reside outside of Australia?
Certainly!  Resellers sell our products across the globe.

The only consideration for resellers located outside Australia is that we need to use the cheapest way to make international settlements - bank transfers - etc.  For small amounts credit card is the cheapest option.
